Lord Sugar ‘very sad’ about EastEnders storyline

ICONINSIDER — Lord Sugar has been left “very sad” about an ‘EastEnders’ plot.
The ‘Apprentice’ star was devastated when Tiffany Butcher-Baker (Maisie Smith) departed Walford for good this week after it looked as though she might get back with her estranged husband Keegan Butcher-Baker (Zack Morris), until her “horrible” brother Liam Butcher (Alfie Deegan) intervened.
He wrote on Twitter: “Tiffany and Keegan very sad @bbceastenders bloody horrible brother.”
Lord Sugar’s tweet came after Tiffany had spent the night with Keegan and then penned him a letter revealing she still loved him, however the note was intercepted by Liam, who threw it in the bin unbeknown to his poor sister.
She later gave what she thought was the letter and her divorce papers to Keegan, who opened the envelope when she had gone only to find the divorce papers, and he mistakenly thought she was indicating their marriage is over for good.
Tiffany waited for Keegan to turn up at the Tube station to stop her going to Germany, but after he didn’t show – because he thought she wanted to go through with the divorce – a devastated Tiff and Liam headed off to the airport.
The 20-year-old actress has departed the BBC One soap after appearing in ‘EastEnders’ since 2008.
Earlier this month, the star admitted she wouldn’t be surprised if she returned to the soap one day even if her character was killed off.
She said: “You never really leave ‘EastEnders. They always manage to find a way back.
“They’ll even bring back people from the dead. Even if I did [die], they’d bring me back at some point – you never know!”
