Jessica Simpson loves convenience of her Walmart line

ICONINSIDER — Jessica Simpson enjoyed creating a fashion collection for Walmart because she loves being able to pick up a new outfit during a grocery shop.
The 43-year-old pop star supermarket giant moved into the clothing business back in 2005 when she created her fashion company The Jessica Simpson Collection which went on to expand into selling shoes and accessories – and her latest venture is a collaboration with the supermarket giant with all pieces costing less than $38.
Jessica has admitted she’s a big fan of being able to treat herself on a trip to the store, telling PEOPLE: ” I am all about convenience and love the idea of one place where you can throw your kids in the cart, grab hot dogs and buns, some lemonade, sunscreen, an ice chest and a new swimsuit and denim shorts with a lip gloss to match for that BBQ you are hosting and be on your merry way.”
The collection includes swimwear, dresses, jacket, shorts and jewellery with every item coming in under the $38 price tag.
Jessica went on to reveal her designs are often inspired by vintage pieces but she also steals ideas from her kids – especially her fashion-forward 11-year-old daughter Maxwell.
She added: “I get my design inspiration from everywhere, like a song I love or a piece of art. I love vintage fashion so I am always looking through archival prints and cuts. Right now I am very inspired by my daughter Maxwell.
“Her pulse on fashion is so unique. She is an infectious trendsetter and always effortlessly confident.”
